Summer School Staff

Since September, Miss Hopkins has been a Futures Fellow and Assistant Housemistress at Shrewsbury School. In the Futures Department, she encourages students to consider and prepare for what they would like to do beyond their time at school. As an Assistant Housemistress, she has provided a wide range of pastoral support, and enjoys promoting a fun, caring and inclusive atmosphere. Prior to that, she has worked in different education policy areas for various colleges within the University of Oxford; for a globally renowned Summer School; and with children with Special Education Needs as a charity volunteer. These experiences have given her a valuable understanding of the education system, and lots of happy memories of working with students to unlock their academic potential. She finds it a real privilege to see students grow throughout their educational journey – and to guide them along this path. In her spare time, Miss Hopkins enjoys painting, drawing, and being in the Great Outdoors! She looks forward to meeting you this summer.
