Summer School Programme
Activities at Shrewsbury
The following schedule illustrates the diverse array of activities and events students can look forward to during the Summer School.
Each day begins with an early wake-up call at 07:30, followed by a hearty breakfast at 08:00 to prepare students for a full day of learning and engagement.
Lessons kick off at 09:00 and run until 15:00, interspersed with a mid-morning break from 10:30 to 11:00 and a lunch break from 12:30 to 13:30. After lessons, students enjoy some free time from 15:00 to 15:30, allowing them to relax and recharge.
The afternoons are filled with various activities from 15:30 to 18:00, providing opportunities for students to explore new interests and participate in different events.
Dinner is served from 18:00 to 18:45, followed by another period of free time from 18:45 to 19:15, giving students a chance to unwind and socialize before the day concludes.
Proposed Social and Recreational Programme:
- Pizza nights – SS delivery with catering team, participants make
- BBQ – include outdoor games e.g. croquet, giant Jenga, acoustic music
- Talent shows – In house activity, prop box
- Quiz nights – In house, prop box
- Game board night – In house activity box
- Sports Hall Badminton / Basketball / 5 a side / swimming pool / Water Polo
- Fire making / Marshmallows
